definitionPityriasis lichenoides is an uncommon inflammatory disease of unknown aetiology divided into an acute and a chronic form. The chronic form shows elevated, reddened, dome-shaped papules in a symmetrical distribution, which enlarge, flatten, and show a fine scale on their surface.
