Keratoakanthom

Definition

Das Keratoakanthom ist ein rasch wachsender Hauttumor, der von den Haarfollikeln ausgeht und histologisch Ähnlichkeiten mit Plattenepithelkarzinomen hat. Allerdings kann er sich unbehandelt spontan zurückbilden. Es entwickelt sich auf normaler Haut eine derbe, runde Papel, die rasch grösser wird und zentral verhornt. Im weiteren Verlauf bildet sich im Zentrum ein keratotischer Pfropf, der von einer Kruste bedeckt wird. Keratoakanthome entstehen meist einzeln. Es gibt aber auch multiple und eruptive Formen. Die solitären oder multiplen Formen treten meist bei Männern an lichtexponierten Arealen auf und sind histologisch identisch. Die eruptive Form kommt bei beiden Geschlechtern vor. Bei ihr können Keratoakanthome exanthematisch am ganzen Körper auftreten.
