Skin manifestation of sarcoidosis characterized by large bluish-red nodules and plaques occurring on the nose, cheeks, ears, fingers and hands. Discrete nodules showing an apple jelly colour on diascopy may be found at the edge sometimes. Lupus pernio tends to persist. It is often associated with other forms of sarcoidosis including upper respiratory tract sarcoidosis, bone cysts, lacrimal gland and renal sarcoidosis.
